DXtrade: The Growing Prop Firm Platform

DXtrade (by Devexperts) has rapidly gained adoption among prop firms. FTMO, The 5%ers, and several other firms now offer DXtrade as a platform option. For traders who run their strategy on MT4 or MT5, this creates a bridging challenge — most trade copiers don't support DXtrade at all.

ConnectXCopy supports DXtrade alongside MT4, MT5, cTrader, Match-Trader, and TradeLocker — making it one of the only copiers that can bridge trades to DXtrade.

Setup: Copying from MT5 to DXtrade

1. Add Your MT5 Account (Master)

In the ConnectXCopy dashboard, go to Accounts > Add Account. Select MT5, enter your credentials, and connect.

2. Add Your DXtrade Account (Slave)

Click Add Account, select DXtrade. Enter your DXtrade username, password, and the broker/prop firm's DXtrade server. ConnectXCopy connects and discovers your trading account.

3. Create the Copier

Go to Copiers > New Copier. Select MT5 as master, DXtrade as slave. Configure:

  • Lot sizing: Balance ratio or fixed lot
  • Equity protection: Set 2-3% below your prop firm's drawdown limit
  • Copy SL/TP: Yes (always, for prop firm accounts)

Click Start. Your MT5 trades now copy to DXtrade automatically.

DXtrade Considerations

  • Symbol names — DXtrade uses its own naming conventions. ConnectXCopy auto-maps most common instruments.
  • Order types — Market orders, limit orders, stop orders, and modifications are supported.
  • Execution — DXtrade uses market execution with the prop firm's liquidity.

Works from Any Source Platform

You can copy to DXtrade from any platform ConnectXCopy supports:

  • MT4 → DXtrade
  • MT5 → DXtrade
  • cTrader → DXtrade
  • Match-Trader → DXtrade
  • TradeLocker → DXtrade

And vice versa — if you're trading directly on DXtrade and want to copy to your personal MT5 account, just reverse the master/slave roles.

Why DXtrade Support Matters for Prop Firm Traders

More prop firms are migrating to DXtrade for its cost structure and API flexibility. Traders who can only use MT4/MT5 copiers are locked out of these opportunities. With ConnectXCopy, your copier works regardless of which platform the prop firm offers — now and as the industry evolves.
