Cross-Platform Trade Copier for MT4, MT5, cTrader & More

ConnectX Copy copies trades between six broker platforms and executes TradingView alerts on top of them. Any supported platform can be the master, any other can be the slave, and the two accounts do not need to share a broker.

How cross-platform copying works

1. Connect both accounts

Each platform connects in its own way — MetaTrader by login and server, cTrader through its OAuth screen, and Match-Trader, DXtrade and TradeLocker by account lookup. Nothing is installed locally.

2. Pair them in a copier

Choose which account leads and which follows. The pair can cross platforms and brokers freely; symbol mapping resolves instrument names that do not match.

3. Size and protect

Pick one of five lot-sizing modes so the follower trades its own size, then optionally arm equity protection with a stop-loss, take-profit or drawdown limit.

What differs between platforms

Copying itself works on every platform. Three things genuinely differ, and they are worth knowing before you choose which account leads.

MT4 and MT5 are the only platforms with an order-modify path, which is why they are the only ones where a stop moved after entry follows through to the copy.

Common use cases

Running one strategy across brokers

Trade once and mirror it to accounts at other brokers, each sized independently.

Prop firm and personal accounts

Copy a personal account into one or more funded accounts with their own drawdown limits.

Moving to a new platform

Keep an existing MetaTrader strategy while trading a broker that only offers DXtrade, Match-Trader or TradeLocker.

Automating a TradingView strategy

Turn alerts into live orders on a broker account, then let a copier fan the result out.

Frequently asked questions

Can I copy between two different platforms?

Yes. Any supported platform can be the master and any other can be the slave, so an MT4 master can drive a cTrader, DXtrade, Match-Trader or TradeLocker account and vice versa.

Do the two accounts have to be at the same broker?

No. The accounts can be at different brokers on different platforms. Symbol mapping pairs instrument names where the brokers disagree, for example EURUSD against EURUSD.r.

Do I need a VPS or an EA on my chart?

No. Connections run in our cloud, so your terminal does not need to stay open and there is nothing to install locally.

Which platforms can execute TradingView alerts?

MT4, MT5, cTrader, DXtrade and TradeLocker. Match-Trader is not currently in the supported set for alert execution.
