TradeLocker Trade Copier

ConnectX Copy connects TradeLocker accounts as master or slave, so a TradeLocker account can be driven by a MetaTrader or cTrader master, or drive other accounts itself.

TradeLocker is one of the platforms where a stop loss or take profit sent with an entry is honoured, which makes it a practical target for TradingView alerts that carry their own risk parameters.

How ConnectX Copy works with TradeLocker

Enter your TradeLocker server, email, password and broker base URL, then choose the trading account from the list returned.

02

Pick a direction

Use TradeLocker as master or slave against any other supported platform.

03

Choose a lot-sizing mode, add filters, and optionally arm equity protection.

What TradeLocker supports

Both what it does and what it does not. The limitations are as useful to know as the features when you are deciding which account should lead.

  • Copy as master or slave
  • TradingView alert execution
  • Stop-loss / take-profit on entryStops sent with an entry are honoured, unlike DXtrade.
  • Partial close
  • Modify stops after entryNo order-modify path is available, so a stop is not moved after it is placed.
  • Real-time tickets streamTradeLocker is reconciled by polling rather than the MT push stream.

Execution and symbol considerations

Connecting a TradeLocker account needs the broker base URL as well as the server, because brokers run TradeLocker on their own endpoints.

Stops set at entry are placed as instructed. What is not available is moving them afterwards, so a trailing stop on the master will not trail on a TradeLocker slave.

Instrument naming differs from MetaTrader conventions, so symbol mapping is usually required when pairing them.

Risk management

All five sizing modes are available: Fixed Lot, Lot Multiplier, Balance Multiplier, Fixed Balance Multiplier and Equity Multiplier.

Equity protection can close copied trades or every trade on an equity or drawdown limit.

Filters by symbol, lot size, direction, magic number and comment apply.

TradeLocker questions

What do I need to connect a TradeLocker account?

Your TradeLocker server, email, password and the broker’s base URL, since brokers run TradeLocker on their own endpoints.

Can TradeLocker execute TradingView alerts with stops?

Yes. TradeLocker is one of the platforms where a stop loss or take profit sent with the entry is honoured.

Do stops move after entry?

No. There is no order-modify path, so a stop stays where it was placed. Use MT4 or MT5 as the slave if you need stops to follow the master.

Can I copy from MT5 to TradeLocker?

Yes, in either direction, with symbol mapping to pair instrument names.
