TradeLocker to DXtrade Trade Copier
Use TradeLocker as your master and have DXtrade accounts follow, with stops attached and managed on the destination.
ConnectX Copy reproduces TradeLocker trades on DXtrade. Both platforms are widely used by funded-account providers, so this generally connects one firm account to another.
There is a useful asymmetry here. TradeLocker cannot move a stop once a trade is open, but DXtrade can — so if your master adjusts its stop, the destination is the side that can follow.
Each DXtrade destination is sized on its own balance and carries its own protection thresholds.
How TradeLocker → DXtrade copying works
TradeLocker is connected
Add the account with its email, password and environment. Positions are reconciled on a short cycle.
DXtrade is connected
Add the destination with its login, account code and broker URL.
The order is translated
The instrument is mapped and the size converted into DXtrade units.
DXtrade executes and is protected
The position opens and its stop and target are attached as linked protection orders.
What ConnectX Copy can copy on this pair
Including what it cannot. The limits are as useful as the features when you are choosing which account should lead.

- Stop loss and take profitAttached to the DXtrade position once confirmed.
- Stop changes on the destinationDXtrade protection orders can be replaced at a new level.

Risk and lot-sizing controls
Balance or equity scaling, the usual choice between two firm accounts of different sizes.
Fixed master balance sizing so the copy is not resized by activity on the TradeLocker account.
Lot floors and ceilings, and refusal of an order below the DXtrade minimum increment.
Direction and lot-range filters, useful when the master trades instruments the destination should not.
Equity protection per destination with a daily reset option.
Symbol mapping
TradeLocker and DXtrade both use broker-specific instrument names, so mapping is resolved before the order is placed.
Explicit mappings handle indices and metals where the naming differs most.
The size conversion into DXtrade units is applied during the calculation.
Platform-specific behaviour
Both platforms are reconciled over REST on a short cycle rather than push streams, so copies land within seconds.
Stops on the DXtrade side are separate linked orders attached after the fill.
Important limitations
- Each account in the link counts towards your plan’s connection allowance.
- Whether copy trading is permitted between funded accounts is your firm’s rule — check both agreements.
Setting it up
- 01Connect the TradeLocker account as the master.
- 02Connect the DXtrade account as the destination.
- 03Create the copier, choose sizing and set the destination’s limits.

Common use cases
Joining two firm platforms
A TradeLocker account and a DXtrade account follow one set of decisions.
Scaling between account sizes
Balance-based sizing keeps a smaller destination proportional.
Protecting the destination independently
Equity protection acts on the DXtrade account’s own equity, whatever the master is doing.

TradeLocker → DXtrade questions
Can stops be moved after entry?
On the DXtrade destination, yes — its protection order can be replaced. TradeLocker itself cannot move a stop once a trade is open.
How fast is the copy?
Both sides are polled rather than streamed, so a copy typically lands a few seconds after the master fills.
How is size decided?
The TradeLocker lot is converted into DXtrade units using the destination instrument’s contract size.
Can one TradeLocker master feed several DXtrade accounts?
Yes. Add as many DXtrade destinations as you need; each is configured separately.
Is this allowed on funded accounts?
Your firms decide that. Check the agreement for both accounts before you begin.
